30 HR LEVEL 1 AERIAL YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

This is a 30-hour Aerial Yoga Teacher Training (Level 1) delivered across three immersive in-person days, supported by guided self-study. It is designed for yoga teachers, trainee teachers, movement practitioners, and curious movers who want to build a strong, safe, and confident foundation in aerial yoga.
Blending traditional yoga principles with the therapeutic and creative potential of the hammock, this training introduces you to aerial yoga as a tool for support, strength, spinal decompression, and exploration. Whether your intention is to teach or to deepen your personal practice, this course offers a structured and supportive pathway into suspended movement.
Throughout the three in-person days, you will explore foundational aerial postures, transitions, and sequencing, alongside essential safety protocols and rigging awareness. You will develop a clear understanding of how to use the hammock intelligently—supporting alignment, enhancing mobility, and building strength in a progressive and accessible way.
The training also places strong emphasis on anatomy and alignment in the air, helping you understand how gravity, suspension, and orientation influence the body differently than in mat-based practice. You will learn how to guide students safely into and out of inversions, adapt practices for different levels, and create balanced, thoughtful aerial classes.
Your learning will be deepened through self-study, including practice integration, observation, and reflection, allowing you to embody the material at your own pace and consolidate your understanding beyond the classroom.
