Maha Sadhana - The Great Practice

28 February 2026 12:30 with Tobias Lunn

In this one-off, Toby will offer a 2.5‑hour immersive practice that weaves together several traditional modalities of yoga, known collectively as Maha Sadhana—the “great practice.” Rooted in classical teachings, Maha Sadhana invites practitioners to move beyond the purely physical aspects of yoga and into a more holistic, inward‑facing experience. The intention of this extended session is to cultivate a deeper connection to the subtle body, create space for integration, and support access to more meditative, introspective states.

This thoughtfully paced practice blends breathwork, dynamic movement, stillness, and sound, giving participants the opportunity to explore the full spectrum of yoga in a single, cohesive journey. Whether you are new to these methods or more experienced, the structure of the session allows you to work at your own pace while still being held within the container of a shared collective practice.

Toby is only in the UK for a couple of weeks, so this is a rare opportunity to practise with him — don’t let it pass.

Outline of the Practice

• 30 minutes – Pranayama & Kriya
Guided breathwork and cleansing techniques designed to awaken pranic flow, steady the mind, and prepare the body for deeper experience. This opening phase creates clarity, focus, and a grounded internal landscape.

• 90 minutes – Asana (Rocket‑Inspired Flow)
A dynamic Rocket‑influenced sequence, playful yet accessible, offering variations for all levels. Expect a fluid exploration of strength, mobility, and conscious breath, with an emphasis on cultivating internal awareness rather than performance.

• 30 minutes – Yoga Nidra & OM Chanting
A deeply restorative Yoga Nidra to encourage integration and nervous system regulation, followed by collective OM chanting to seal the energetic intention of the practice.
