Shani Jay

Shani found meditation and yoga as a teenager and has enjoyed a personal practice that spans 18 years. Like so many, Shani started practising yoga for the physical benefits, but what kept her returning to the mat was the deeper connection with body & soul. Yoga served as the first step on a soul-awakening journey that disrupted her life in the very best way.

In 2019, she completed her YTT-200 in Koh Phangan, Thailand, while a year living in Bali led her into the depths of Yin and Embodied Feminine Yoga, which colours her signature teaching style today. As a Writer and Author, Shani weaves poetry and thoughtful reflections into her classes, which have a way of stirring something deep within the soul.

Shani is deeply passionate about holding sacred space and leading nourishing classes that honour all bodies and encourage people to slow down, reflect, and return home to themselves. In her presence, you will be encouraged to shed what you've outgrown, heal what hurts, and meet all of yourself - both the light and the dark.
