Sheryl has been teaching yoga for over ten years, supporting students to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with their bodies in ways that feel nourishing, empowering, and deeply restorative. Her approach is gentle yet intentional, guided by the belief that meaningful transformation occurs when we create space to listen inward. Her main offering is Yin Yoga, a soft, grounding practice where postures are held for longer periods of time.

Sheryl’s Yin classes work deeply into the connective tissues, joints, and fascia while calming and supporting the nervous system. Her sessions are slow, spacious, and meditative, giving students time to settle, breathe, and observe their inner landscape without pressure or expectation. She encourages people to move intuitively, focusing on sensation rather than appearance, and empowers each student to adapt the practice to meet their individual needs. Sheryl’s teaching is also informed by her training as a doula, pregnancy yoga teacher, and Ayurveda lifestyle coach. These disciplines shape her holistic perspective, allowing her to support the mind–body connection and honour the natural rhythms, cycles, and transitions that we all experience.

Sheryl's classes are grounded in compassion, awareness, and a deep respect for the individuality of each student’s journey. Alongside her yoga offerings, Sheryl facilitates fortnightly floating soundbaths — immersive, deeply restorative experiences in which participants rest in silk hammocks and are enveloped in layers of therapeutic sound. Using crystal singing bowls, subtle harmonic tones, and gentle nature-inspired frequencies, she creates an atmosphere that helps quiet the mind, soothe the nervous system, and guide the body into profound states of rest, balance, and renewal. At the heart of all her work is a love for exploring the rich connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Sheryl is dedicated to creating safe, welcoming spaces where students feel fully supported and in complete control of how they move, rest, and respond to their inner experience. Her intention is always to help people slow down, listen deeply, and feel held exactly as they are.
