Hannah Broom

Hannah has been practicing yoga for more than ten years, and her journey as a teacher first began in Bali, where she completed her initial training and immersed herself in a vibrant global yoga community. She spent several years teaching around the world while travelling, sharing her passion for movement and mindful living with students from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds. Now settled back in Nottingham, she is dedicated to her own practice and to offering classes that inspire, challenge, and uplift the local yoga community.

Hannah is drawn to a strong, dynamic style of yoga, and this comes through in her teaching. She loves guiding sequences that build heat, strength, and stamina, with playful and creative transitions that encourage students to explore their edges. Her classes are energising and challenging, yet always grounded in intention and awareness. She believes that a powerful practice should be balanced with moments of stillness and deep release, so she often weaves restorative or grounding asanas into her sessions, creating a holistic rhythm of strength and softness. At the heart of Hannah’s approach is the invitation to turn inward—to listen closely to the body, to honour what is true in the present moment, and to respond honestly to what is needed.

She encourages students to cultivate this inner awareness as a guiding force, both on and off the mat. You’ll most often find Hannah either blissed out in Savasana or upside down in a headstand—two places where she feels equally at home. Her teaching reflects that same blend of peaceful grounding and joyful challenge.
