Emma Gleaden
Hi, I’m Emma. I teach community Hatha yoga classes here at Deep that are welcoming and accessible for all ages and abilities. I’ve been part of the Deep YogaEmma teaches community Hatha Yoga classes at Deep, offering welcoming, supportive, and accessible sessions for practitioners of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. A graduate of Deep Yoga’s 200‑hour Teacher Training programme, she brings the warmth, clarity, and grounding she gained throughout her training directly into her teaching.
Emma first discovered yoga as a way to cultivate balance, calm, and connection in her own life. What began as a personal refuge gradually deepened into a meaningful daily practice, eventually inspiring her to pursue training and share what she had learned with others. This lived experience informs her teaching today. Her classes blend gentle movement, accessible asana, steady breathwork, and moments of quiet reflection, encouraging students to slow down, tune inward, and explore their bodies with patience and compassion. She places great value on creating a nurturing, grounded environment where students feel comfortable to explore, rest, grow, and simply be.
Emma’s teaching highlights the quieter, contemplative aspects of yoga—inviting stillness, awareness, and presence—while also celebrating the subtle strength and spaciousness that emerge through consistent practice. She encourages students to honour their limits, listen deeply, and discover the transformative power of mindful movement. Deeply committed to making yoga inclusive, Emma welcomes everyone: complete beginners, returning practitioners, and those seeking a gentler, reflective practice. Her intention is always to support each student on their unique path, offering guidance that is steady, thoughtful, and grounded in authenticity. community for around 2 years.
My classes focus not just on movement and asana, but also on encouraging inner reflection and a calm, steady mind. My aim is to create a space where everyone feels supported in their own journey with yoga!
